An excellent opportunity is available for an energetic and customer-focused Assistant Sales Manager/2IC to join our Used Vehicle Sales department. The successful candidate will be responsible for working alongside the Retail Sales Manager to meet sales targets, manage the yard, and create a positive and engaged team culture to ensure we are providing an exceptional customer experience.
How you will make an impact:
* Achieve monthly used vehicle sales targets and manage daily sales performance and gross.
* Manage used vehicle stock, including ageing stock, reconditioning and presentation.
* Ensure all used vehicles are advertised and priced competitively to market.
* Manage all customer enquiries, ensuring timely follow-up and conversion.
* Support dealership leadership while building strong customer relationships.
* Assist the Sales Manager in day to day operational requirements of the department
What we're looking for:
* Previous experience as a Sales Consultant in the automotive industry
* Current Manual Driver's License
* Current Yard Manager's License
* Ability to build rapport with a diverse client base
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent time management skills
* Proficient computer skills
