About the role As Copywriter, you will support the Brand & Creative Delivery team in bringing Australian Red Cross stories, campaigns and brand to life through clear, punchy and impactful copy. You will help translate humanitarian stories and insights into compelling campaign messages, headlines and short-form creative content that build awareness and inspire people to donate, volunteer or take action. This is a hands-on experience in a creative environment with purpose, helping to ensure the delivery of meaningful on-brand content. Day to day, you will: Develop creative and engaging copy for campaigns, social content, paid media, email, digital and print assets that cut through, spark emotion and inspire people to take action. Adapt longer-form humanitarian stories into concise, creatively-led campaign copy that increases engagement and drives conversion. Support with the creation of scripts, captions and messaging for multimedia assets throughout the pre- and post-production phases Collaborate closely with the wider Brand and Creative Delivery team, including design and production, to build integrated creative that feels cohesive, strategically aligned and unmistakably Australian Red Cross. What you will bring Proven ability as creative and solutions-focused writer and thinker. Sound knowledge and skills in the production of creative content across multiple channels including multimedia, display, digital, online, email and print communications. Experience working in a creatively led environment, with advertising agency experience advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills required to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing – with an ability to build rapport with a wide range of stakeholders. Demonstrated sound technical knowledge and expertise in creative development.
