Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Specialist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team in providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
* You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver evidence-based care that meets the unique needs of each patient.
* Your responsibilities will include:
o Providing leadership and guidance to less experienced clinicians
o Delivering effective clinical communication through the use of information technology, written and verbal means, and sound interpersonal skills
o Applying evidence-based practice and critical thinking to advocate for and implement individualized person-centered care
o Supervising, delegating, and negotiating with others to deliver quality nursing care
o Prioritizing and organizing workload to deliver care with integrity and accountability
Requirements
* Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse
* Demonstrated competencies in and knowledge of the complexities and challenges involved in providing nursing care in a multidisciplinary team
* Demonstrated effective clinical communication and interpersonal skills
* Recent clinical experience in Palliative Care and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills
