Key responsibilities:
In this role, working closely with the Orchard Manager, you'll be actively involved in the day-to-day operations, taking on a range of tasks that help keep our orchards productive and successful.
Hands-on farm work : Engage in diverse tasks such as maintenance, repairs, and proactive reporting of safety hazards. Seasonal operations : Be part of the cycle by planting, pruning, picking, and harvesting throughout the year. Machinery expertise : Operate farm machinery with comprehensive on-farm training to build your skills. Agricultural applications : Assist with herbicide and pesticide applications to ensure healthy crops. Safety first : Uphold and exceed work health and safety standards in every aspect of your role. Farm experience : Previous farm work experience is a bonus.
