About the Role
The primary objective of this position is to oversee food preparation and presentation while maintaining high standards in kitchen operations during service hours.
* Plan and prepare a variety of dishes, ensuring consistency and efficiency throughout service periods
* Cook and present food to exacting standards within given timeframes
* Monitor food quality, portion control, and waste reduction to minimize losses
* Maintain compliance with essential health, safety, and hygiene regulations
* Supervise kitchen staff, provide training support as needed, and assist with rostering duties
* Manage inventory levels, conduct stock rotation, and communicate effectively with suppliers
* Foster collaboration among team members to optimize kitchen efficiency and customer satisfaction
