Chairo Christian School is a growing non-denominational Christian school with 1,900 Kinder to Year 12 students attending five picturesque campuses in West and South Gippsland, the Latrobe Valley and the south-eastern outskirts of Melbourne.

We are seeking the services of a dedicated Canteen Operator to join the team at our Drouin campus in September this year. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a caring Christian environment and deliver a friendly and efficient canteen service at the campus.
Some key responsibilities will include:
* Operating the campus canteen and delivering friendly service to students and staff members
* Preparing and purchasing food for sale through the canteen in accordance with the school's food safety standards
* Processing online orders using My School Connect
* Cleaning and organising the canteen and equipment as may be required
* Assisting with canteen money management in accordance with school policy
The successful candidate will have the following:
* Demonstrated commitment to the school's Statement of Faith
* Food handling/hygiene certificate (or willingness to obtain)
* Experience in food preparation or kitchen management (desirable)
* Ability to relate to students and staff members in a caring, friendly and helpful manner
