As a Personal Care Assistant Wellbeing (PCAWB) you will provide quality personal care and support the lifestyle choices of our residents at mecwacare O'Mara House, a 67 - bed facility. The PCAWB supports our resident's physical, spiritual, social, and cultural needs to maintain their wellbeing and independence.
**What you bring**:
- Certificate III in Aged Care or Certificate III in Individual Support.
- Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in Aged Care.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to older people and their families.
- A proactive approach to resident care and wellbeing.
- Ability to understand and implement resident care plans.
- Ability to identify problems and a clear understanding of when to alert immediate supervisors.
- Demonstrated time management and multi-tasking skills.
- Pro-active and dedicated approach to deliver best practice care.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality in all matters.
- Able to demonstrate flexibility to workplace demands and a teamwork attitude.
