About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Finance Officer to join our Finance Department in a permanent part-time capacity on site (4 days per week). This role works year round, with 4 weeks of annual leave. The Finance Officer supports the Director of Finance in a number of areas including tuition fee invoicing, debt collection, and database management. This role also supports the Director of Finance in administrating and coordinating the School's assurance and risk management platform (Ideagen).
Key skills and competencies
* Accounting experience including strong numeracy and operational skills
* Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
* Public Relations skills - including a customer service approach and the ability to deal with demanding customers in a timely and appropriate manner
* Highly professional and a high degree of personal integrity
* Ability to be discrete and appropriately manage confidential and sensitive information
* Database administration including Synergetic for debtor function and Ideagen for assurance and compliance
* Positive and energetic with a 'can do' attitude
* Ability to work as part of a collaborative team
* Ability to work to deadlines
* Excellent Microsoft Office word and excel skills
Education and Qualifications
* A Bachelor of Business or Accounting Degree, or equivalent is desirable for this role.
