**Job Title:** Financial/Professional Lines Claims Consultant
This is a key role in our team responsible for leading the resolution process for claims through legal defence, negotiated settlement, or litigation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead complex claim investigations to achieve cost-effective outcomes that balance risk and customer needs.
* Provide clear direction to legal practitioners on litigated matters.
* Negotiate directly with brokers, insureds, and third-party claimants on non-litigated claims.
* Maintain meticulous claims administration and set accurate reserves.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years PQE or extensive practical experience with insurer in managing professional risk claims.
* Proven skills in handling litigated and non-litigated matters, mediations, and achieving favourable resolutions.
* Strong background in legal, insurance, or regulatory environments, with a focus on professional indemnity.
