The Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant who's ready to step into a role with increased responsibility, client exposure and genuine support.
Based in Brisbane, you'll manage a diverse client portfolio and deliver high‑quality tax, accounting and advisory services while working closely with approachable and supportive Directors.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and review financial statements, income tax returns and BAS for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals
* Manage compliance and tax matters including GST, FBT, and related obligations
* Identify opportunities to add value through proactive tax and business advisory support
* Build trusted client relationships and provide practical, solutions‑focused advice
* Collaborate within a close‑knit team with direct access to Directors
This role offers a great balance of autonomy, variety, and client interaction - ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with business owners and seeing the tangible impact of their work.
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
* A Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CA or CPA qualified, or working towards)
* At least 4 years' experience in an Australian public practice environment
* Strong working knowledge of Xero and other accounting software
* Confident communication skills and the ability to build strong client relationships
* Full Australian working rights
