About the role
Barber Property Group is seeking a motivated and experienced Housekeeper to join our team on a casual basis in Caloundra. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of our prestigious hospitality establishments. As a Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across our properties.
What you'll be doing
* Ensuring all guest rooms, common areas, and other assigned spaces are cleaned to the highest standards
* Restocking and managing inventory of cleaning supplies and linens
* Adhering to established hotel policies and procedures for cleaning and maintenance
* Providing excellent customer service and addressing any guest concerns promptly
* Collaborating with the wider hospitality team to maintain seamless operations
* Assisting with deep cleaning and special projects as needed
* Use of Housekeeping software
* Moderate physical fitness is required for making beds, light lifting and handling cleaning equipment and supplies
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a housekeeping or similar role within the hospitality industry
* Some housekeeping experience is required, but all applicants are encouraged to apply
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation
* Excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently and independently
* Positive attitude and exceptional customer service skills
* Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a collaborative work environment
* Fluency in English and strong communication skills
* Australian work rights are required for this position
