Senior Lawyer – General Practice
Salary range -$150k to $170k
Lardners Solicitors, a boutique General Law practice situated in Mount Eliza on the Mornington Peninsula, is seeking an experienced and values driven senior associate to join our practice. This is a unique opportunity for a generalist lawyer (with 5+ PAE) who enjoys leadership and mentoring, and delivering exceptional client outcomes within a supportive environment.
Our firm is diverse and we take pride in delivering quality legal services to our clients in the areas of Family Law, Wills and Estates planning, Elder law, Property law, business law, intervention orders and civil litigation, meaning every workday will be different.

The Role
As a senior lawyer at Lardners, you will:
* Provide high level, legal advice to clients from initial consultation through to resolution
* Manage your own files, across a range of legal services, including estate planning, family law and other generalist areas
* Draft high quality legal documents, including Wills and Testamentary trusts, affidavits and financial agreements
* Attend court appearances as needed
* Build strong, trusted relationships with clients, balancing professionalism and empathy
* Mentor junior lawyers, and contribute to firm growth and business development
What we are looking for
* Admitted Australian Legal Practitioner with 5+ PAE, ideally in generalist firms, with experience in Wills and Estates planning, Family law or Commercial law.
* Candidates must have proven experience in at least two of the following areas: Wills and Estates planning, Family law, or Commercial law.
* Demonstrated ability to manage own files autonomously, and within a team
* Strong leadership qualities, with a genuine interest in mentoring junior lawyers and supporting others
* Precise legal drafting skills
* A passion for problem solving and strategic thinking
* High levels of professionalism, discretion and attention to detail
* Proficiency in cloud-based practice management software such as Smokeball or similar
