SUPERVISOR/ESTIMATOR | NEW SOUTH WALES (CENTRAL COAST / NEWCASTLE)
Location: Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia
Responsibilities
* Prepare and submit quotes and tenders for both fixed price and schedule of rates contracts.
* Liaise with internal stakeholders to gather necessary inputs for accurate pricing and scope definition.
* Support the team in planning awarded works, including scheduling, resource allocation, and milestone tracking.
* Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to develop work plans and ensure readiness for execution.
What you will bring – Qualifications & Experience
* Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Mechanical / Civil) or trade qualifications in a related area (desired).
* Relevant on‑site industry experience in the resources, engineering or construction industry.
* Proven experience providing detailed tender‑stage level works methodology for submissions.
* Proficiency in tendering, structural, mechanical, fabrication, building maintenance.
* Ability to use and produce schedules and Gantt charts (Microsoft Project).
* Ability to complete all aspects of tender request documentation.
* Methodical approach including good time management, detailed orientation, organisational skills and interpersonal skills.
* Proven track record of maintaining a safe working environment.
* Proof of right to work in Australia.
