Position Overview
This position provides clinical education leadership to support high‐quality, evidence‐based nursing care across wards and units. Working alongside new and existing staff, the role delivers direct clinical coaching, coordinates and evaluates education programs, study days, and professional development activities, and supports graduate and undergraduate nursing programmes. Through strong collaboration, expert clinical knowledge and data‐informed evaluation, the role promotes excellence in practice, supports competency development, contributes to research and protocol development, and fosters a positive, adaptable learning culture aligned with organisational priorities.
Mandatory Requirements
* Dynamic, self‐motivated and flexible individual with the ability to respond and adapt to change, display empathy, prioritise and problem‐solve effectively with a positive "can‐do" attitude and eagerness to learn.
* Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia administered through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
* Four years' experience as a Registered Nurse.
* Demonstrated commitment to ongoing personal and professional development, as evidenced in a Continuing Professional Development record or professional practice portfolio.
* Demonstrated understanding and experience of adult learning and learning management systems.
* Small or large group teaching experience.
* Current and satisfactory Police Check and WWCC.
* NDIS Worker Screening Check.
* Seasonal influenza vaccination in accordance with Secretary, Department of Health Directions.
