The ideal candidate will be a seasoned sales professional with a strong background in the construction or building materials industry.
Key responsibilities include identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the fire-rated and commercial door sector, developing strong relationships with builders, architects, certifiers, and facility managers, preparing accurate quotes and proposals for fire door products and solutions, understanding fire door compliance requirements and communicating technical product knowledge to clients, attending site visits or client meetings to gather specifications and advise on suitable solutions, contributing to pricing strategy and product positioning, meeting or exceeding sales targets through consistent pipeline management and customer engagement, and staying up-to-date with fire door codes, standards (AS1905.1), and industry trends.
Requirements for this role include experience in B2B sales within the construction, building products, or fire safety industries, understanding of NCC, AS1905.1, and fire door compliance, strong communication and negotiation skills, ability to read construction drawings and understand job specifications, strong customer relationship management skills, and tech-savvy capabilities with CRM and quoting systems.
