What you'll be doing
As a Pharmacist in Cancer Services, you'll play a vital role in delivering quality pharmaceutical services to patients, ensuring compliance with legislative and hospital standards, and supporting clinical excellence.
* Prepare and supervise sterile and non‑sterile products in line with GMP
* Provide accurate medicine information and patient‑focused care
* Supervise pharmacy technicians, students, and support staff
* Participate in quality assurance, education, and research programmes
* Support clinical and educational activities within cancer services

Qualification
* Pharmacy qualifications conferred by tertiary education institutions (e.g. Bachelor of Pharmacy)
Registration
* Full and unrestricted Pharmacist Registration with AHPRA
Selection Criteria
* Demonstrated excellent and effective communication skills.
* Demonstrated experience and skills in providing pharmaceutical services to ensure safe use of medicines, especially in the area of cancer care services.
* Demonstrated excellent therapeutic knowledge and ability to exercise a high level of initiative in the application of pharmaceutical principles to clinical practice.
* Demonstrated excellent organisational and prioritisation skills to meet deadlines.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
* Willing and able to participate in sterile (including cytotoxic) manufacturing.
* Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and teaching activities.
* Willing to work on weekends, on‑call as per departmental rosters.
