Shift Supervisor Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Shift Supervisor to oversee the administrative needs of our facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring utilization and capacity management, supplies, meals, and maintenance requirements.
The Shift Supervisor will provide leadership, coaching, and supervision for all staff on assigned shifts. They will guide the implementation of the discharge planning process and ensure that guests receive exceptional care and advocacy.
* Team Leadership: Provides leadership, coaching, and supervision for all staff on assigned shifts.
* Guest Care & Advocacy: Completes assessments for individuals brought to the facility, developing treatment plans and recovery solutions in partnership with the individual.
* Compliance & Risk Management: Determines a provisional diagnosis, obtains documentation of medical necessity, and submits authorizations for service in a timely fashion.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited college or university. Associate licensure in good standing in an applicable Behavioral Health field is required, while independent licensure is preferred.
The selected candidate will possess excellent communication and documentation skills, as well as the ability to complete comprehensive psychosocial assessments and treatment plans. They must also be able to pass de-escalation training, as defined by state requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
