APG Workforce is currently seeking an experienced Call Centre Operator for 6-month assignment within a Gosford Government Sector.
The Role:
* 6-month contract, possibility of extension
* $37.39 per hour + Super
* Gosford Location
* Working Hours: Up to 7 hours per day / 35 hours per week The successful contractors will be working on a 7am-7pm rotating roster Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.
Primary purpose of the role
* Provide high quality generalist service as the first point of contact for Service NSW contact centre customers.
* Receive inbound calls, obtain necessary information and utilise generalist knowledge to transfer customers to appropriate contact centre specialists in a courteous, accurate and efficient manner.
* Undertake administrative work as required to support the provision of high quality service delivery
To be considered for this position you will possess the following skills and attributes:
1. Looking for candidates with 2 - 3 years customer service experience (call centre)
2. Need excellent written and verbal communication skills
3. Previous government experience is preferred but not required
4. Looking for candidates who have previously worked in an office environment
5. Good typing skills
6. able to use a mouse and monitor
7. Strong email etiquette
8. Proficient in Microsoft office suite, particularly Outlook and Teams
Specific software will be taught however contractors need to be technically savvy and have the ability to pick up systems quickly
