About the Job:
This Financial Specialist position is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the success of our clients. As a key member of our Japanese Corporate Banking Division, you will play a critical role in ensuring the portfolio of clients is managed effectively.
The location of this role is flexible – Sydney or Melbourne is preferred, but Perth will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage credit-related tasks, including periodic review of borrower rating and preparation of credit applications through communication with relationship managers and credit officers in Japan.
* Oversee credit-linked administrative tasks, such as maintenance of system records, covenant checks, documentation, and various report requests, by smooth communication between relevant parties.
* Conduct thorough financial and industry analysis through the credit process.
* Support relationship managers for preparation of pitches and proposals.
Requirements:
Candidates should have approximately 2 years' experience working in a financial institution, credit agency, accounting firm, consultancy or equivalent. We also welcome candidates with less experience.
You'll possess strong Excel spreadsheet skills, research and analytical skills. A good understanding of corporate banking products is advantageous, but not essential.
A high level of personal responsibility and self-discipline, together with good communication skills and team spirit are required.
Japanese language skills are highly beneficial.
