The ServiceNow Developer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering business and technical systems analysis, as well as development programs and services, to enhance our Enterprise Service Management platform, ServiceNow.
This role involves scoping, designing, and developing solutions that drive platform improvements and user experience. The ServiceNow Developer will lead the planning, execution, and review of customisation and internal enhancement projects, ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, and user-friendly.
Key aspects of the role include:
Identifying optimal solution approaches to meet business needs.
Solving complex problems with innovative and practical outcomes.
Delivering enhancements that improve functionality and usability for our stakeholders.
What You'll Bring
Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer or similar role.
Strong knowledge of ServiceNow architecture, scripting (JavaScript, Glide), and APIs.
Experience with ITIL processes and service management principles.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Relevant certifications (e.g., ServiceNow Certified Application Developer) will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and configure ServiceNow modules, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Catalog.
Implement automation and integration solutions within the ServiceNow platform.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Ensure compliance with organisational standards and best practices.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ServiceNow-related issues.
What You Need to Know
A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.
