Overview
The Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking an experienced Visiting Medical Officer to join our team at Concord Repatriation General Hospital. The primary purpose of the role is to provide high quality diagnostic and consultative specialty services in Gynaecology and to participate in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities within the Gynaecology Department and hospital as required.
Responsibilities
Provide high standard professional performance in the delivery of Gynaecology services, encourage an academic environment that supports education, research and professional development. Participate in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities within the Gynaecology Department and, when required, across the hospital.
Qualifications
• Medical practitioner, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).• Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) with recognised qualifications in Gynaecology or equivalent specialist recognition.• Position will be available from July 2026; applicants expected to be awarded their Fellowship within two months from that date may be considered.
Salary & Conditions
Salary and conditions are in accordance with the NSW Public Hospitals Visiting Medical Officer Determination.
