Broome Out of School Care Children’s Activities (BOSCCA) provides high-quality Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) and Vacation Care for children aged 5–12 in Broome, Western Australia. Lead With Purpose
BOSCCA is looking for a full-time Educational Leader – Nominated Supervisor based in Broome, WA .
Reporting to the OSHC Coordinator / Nominated Supervisor, this role is responsible for leading educational programming and pedagogy across the service, mentoring educators, and ensuring compliance with the National Quality Framework — while building strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and the community.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Leading the planning, implementation, and evaluation of high-quality, play-based educational programs aligned with the My Time, Our Place framework
* Mentoring and guiding educators to strengthen practice, confidence, and compliance with the National Quality Framework
* Building positive, trusting relationships with children, families, educators, and community stakeholders
* Ensuring educational programs reflect service values, regulatory requirements, and best practice
* Supporting the development, review, and implementation of the Quality Improvement Plan
* Promoting reflective practice and continuous improvement across programming and routines
* Upholding child safety, inclusion, and wellbeing in line with all relevant legislation, policies, and standards
What You’ll Bring to the Role
To qualify, you will need a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent). A minimum of 3 years’ leadership experience in a school-aged care service, or 5 years’ experience working in OSHC, will also be essential. You must be willing to accept the role of Nominated Supervisor / Responsible Person .
You will also hold, or be willing to obtain, the following:
* Valid Working with Children Check
* Accredited Child Protection Training
* Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Management certifications
Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:
* Degree in Early Childhood Education from a recognised university
* Strong working knowledge of the My Time, Our Place framework
* Demonstrated experience mentoring and supporting educators
* Sound understanding of the National Quality Framework and child protection legislation
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
