They are seeking reliable and hardworking Trades Assistant (T/A) Labourers to support their tradespeople on various job sites.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring all necessary equipment and materials are prepared, and will assist in general labour duties, preparation, and clean-up activities.
Key Responsibilities
Assist tradesperson on-site with day-to-day tasks
Prepare and set up all required tools, materials, and equipment for the job
Fill, maintain, and clean blasting equipment as needed
Shadow tradesperson to provide hands-on support as needed
Perform sanding and spotting work as part of surface preparation
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Follow all safety protocols and site procedures
Requirements
Previous experience in a construction or industrial environment preferred
White card
Ability to follow instructions and work closely with a team
Physically fit and capable of manual labour
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Basic knowledge of tools and materials used in the trade
Commitment to workplace health and safety standards
Experience with industrial coatings or abrasive blasting (desirable)
