As an integral part of our dynamic team, you will work closely with the directors and key clients, providing a broad range of accounting services. This role presents a fantastic opportunity to further develop your career, with the potential to take on management responsibilities as our firm continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities:
* Take ownership of client groups, building and maintaining strong client relationships.
* Prepare and review financial statements for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships.
* Gain exposure to a range of taxation areas, including GST, CGT, FBT, and Division 7A.
* Assist clients with queries on accounting technology and software.
* Contribute actively to the positive and inclusive culture of the firm, in line with our mission and values.
What We're Looking For:
* Proven track record as an Accountant, with diverse experience in compliance and technical areas.
* Self-starter with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new processes.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Professional, positive attitude and excellent organizational skills.
* Hands-on approach to client interaction and deadline-driven tasks.
Essential Attributes:
* Tertiary Qualifications & certifications in Accounting, Economics, Finance or Taxation.
* Strong quality management, clear communication, commercially astute and business development skills.
* A professional and positive approach.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
* Being a self-starter and highly motivated with the ability to report to clients on all aspects of their business.
Desirable Attributes:
* Experience preparing SMSF financial statements and annual returns.
* Experience working with offshore teams.
* Experience of accounting services, to industries including superannuation, retirement living, small business
