Project Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing projects from start to finish.


About the Role

The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, stakeholders, and team members.


Key Responsibilities

* Develop project plans and timelines, including project objectives, deliverables, and milestones.
* Manage project teams and coordinate the efforts of team members to ensure that the project is completed on schedule.
* Communicate with the client to understand their needs and objectives, and to ensure that the project is meeting their expectations.
* Manage project budgets and financials, including tracking project costs and managing project finances.
* Identify and manage project risks and develop and implement risk management plans.
* Manage project change requests and ensure that changes are implemented in a timely and efficient manner.
* Coordinate and manage project testing and quality assurance activities.
* Lead project closeout activities, including finalizing project deliverables, conducting project evaluations, and documenting project results.
* Provide guidance and mentoring to project team members and ensure that they have the necessary skills and resources to complete their tasks.


Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you will need to have around 5-8 years' experience within the construction industry, ideally having at least 2 years' experience within project management consulting. Key attributes include:

* Strong leadership skills, including the ability to lead and manage teams, delegate tasks, and make decisions.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
* Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
* Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously.
* Knowledge of local construction industry and a strong knowledge of the relevant building codes.
