Proudly West Australian, Gage Roads has grown to become the country's leading independent brewery. In Jan '22, we opened Gage Roads Freo, our 1500 capacity brewpub, located in the Fremantle Port, on the Walyalup Waterfront. Perched right on the harbour, our venue overlooks the channel of water that originally inspired our name.
Since slinging our first beer, we've solidified ourselves as a "must visit" for tourists, and a regular spot for locals, taking out awards like "Best Bar" and "Best Outdoor Area". Not to mention being packed to the rafters day in and day out.
None of this would be possible without our legendary "Good Times Crew". About the Role
An opportunity for a great pizza chef to join the team at our amazing venue located at the Fremantle Port. There is a number of roles and we will consider, full time, fixed term or casual positions, the venue is open 7 days a week.
Skills and Experience
The successful applicant will be experienced in: producing high quality, hand-stretched pizzas
Managing a wood-fired oven
Responsible for stock control and ordering of quality raw materials
Maintaining cleanliness and following all food hygiene and environmental health procedures and record-keeping procedures
Able to work under pressure while working closely with the kitchen and FOH team
A team player who will add to our strong team spirit
Able to train an assistant/s to help us further develop the team
