Job Description
AECOM is delivering some of Australia's most critical water infrastructure projects. With major investment in dam infrastructure and long-term partnerships with dam owners nationwide, we offer opportunities to work on complex, high-impact projects across the country. You will contribute to feasibility studies, design, construction, and asset management, collaborating with specialists nationally and internationally to develop sustainable water solutions and mentor the next generation of engineers. Base locations include Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Newcastle, Sydney, or Perth.
How you'll make a difference
* Leading and running engineering components of complex, major dam projects and providing technical and strategic direction in their delivery.
* Guiding and mentoring our growing team of engineers to deliver high-quality outputs and excellent client service.
* Leading design teams and design programs from options-analysis through to detailed design of dams.
* Creating and maintaining lasting relationships with clients.
Qualifications
The following qualifications and experience are highly desired. If you don't tick all boxes you could still be a great fit—apply, all applications will be considered.
* Proven experience delivering strong outcomes with a strong technical capability in the dam industry.
* A passion for mentoring and leadership.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to develop and nurture relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and the local industry through project work or initiatives.
* A relevant tertiary degree (essential).
