Due to sustained growth and forward succession planning, they’re seeking an Associate Engineer (Civil) to join their Melbourne team.This is a genuine step-up opportunity — not just a title change. The Role Reporting directly to the Group Director, you will:
* Lead medium to large-scale civil projects from concept to completion
* Manage project budgets, resourcing and delivery outcomes
* Prepare fee proposals, tenders and technical documentation
* Oversee and mentor engineers, drafters and graduates
* Build and strengthen client relationships
* Contribute to discipline strategy and business growth
* Ensure quality, compliance and commercial performance
You’ll have autonomy, accountability and real input into the direction of the team. About You
You will likely have:
* 8+ years’ civil engineering experience within a consulting environment
* Chartered status (CPEng) and Engineers Australia membership
* Strong design and project management capability
* Experience managing clients and project financials
* A proactive leadership style and mentoring mindset
* Commercial awareness and strategic thinking
