Your new role:
In this role, you will provide advanced perioperative nursing care, critical thinking and clinical leadership across the surgical continuum. You'll support safe patient care, lead day-to-day coordination and contribute to education, research and quality improvement activities.
You will:
* Deliver advanced perioperative nursing care across pre-op, theatre, PACU and acute pain services
* Provide clinical leadership, support and direction to nursing and multidisciplinary teams
* Coordinate workflow, resources, rostering support and service delivery within perioperative areas
* Support education, evidence-based practice, quality initiatives and service improvements
About you:
You are a skilled perioperative clinician with strong leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering protected, patient-centred care.
You will bring:
* Advanced clinical knowledge in perioperative, orthopaedic and/or ENT nursing
* High-level critical thinking, assessment and problem-solving skills
* Ability to support and mentor staff, students and multidisciplinary colleagues
* Solid teamwork, coordination and communication skills across complex clinical environments

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
