About This Role
The Department of Justice and Community Safety seeks a skilled IT professional to provide technical support and guidance to staff at the Western Plains Correctional Centre. As an Information Technology Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of technology systems within the facility.
* You will lead a small team of IT officers, providing technical advice and assistance to staff as needed.
* Your responsibilities will include developing and managing local IT systems, acting as administrator for infrastructure upgrades, user requirements, and publishing information about the people in our care IT infrastructure.
* You will manage the implementation of upgrades and ongoing maintenance of computers used by people in our care to ensure compliance with DJCS policy.
