Emergency Response Specialist
Auxiliary firefighters play a vital role in supporting emergency services across the region. As an Emergency Response Specialist, you will respond to fire and other emergency incidents, promote community safety and emergency preparedness, and develop and maintain competencies through regular drills and training courses.
Key Responsibilities:
* Respond to emergency incidents as a member of a team
* Promote community safety and emergency preparedness through educational activities
* Develop and maintain competencies by participating in regular drills and training courses
* Maintain required attendance standards for emergency incidents and training
* Operate specialist equipment in a safe and effective manner
* Contribute to upkeep and hygiene of facilities
* Ensure maintenance and repair of operational equipment and facilities
* Contribute to incident reporting and general administration as required
