The role
This is not a "marketing-only" role and it is not a passive leadership position. You will be responsible for turning attention into booked calls, booked calls into revenue, and revenue into a scalable operation.
You will lead growth across:
* Social media authority and inbound lead flow
* Sales pipeline performance and conversion
* Internal workflows, systems, and onboarding
* Business development strategies that generate real opportunities
You will work closely with the Founder and lead from the front.
What you will be responsible for
* Agency lead generation and brand growth
* Own the social media growth strategy for The Checklist Group and Scroll Stopper Content Agency across LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram and YouTube
* Set the strategy and direction while the content team executes, schedules and publishes
* Attend monthly in-person content sessions on the Gold Coast, or direct our in-house photographer and videographer
* Build consistent inbound lead flow through organic social, DM strategies and paid activity where relevant
* Improve visibility, trust and demand for our services
* Research trends, PR opportunities and relevant conferences to increase brand reach and authority
Sales and revenue growth
* Own the sales pipeline from lead to close alongside the Founder
* Review and refine sales scripts, call frameworks and follow-up sequences
* Track and improve booking rate, show rate, close rate, CAC and revenue per client
* Lead business development outreach strategies that actually convert
Systems, workflows and automation
* Build and optimise workflows across marketing, sales and onboarding
* Implement and manage CRM and automation tools (Go High Level experience is a strong advantage)
* Remove friction, manual steps and bottlenecks
* Ensure new clients are fully onboarded into systems before their first meeting
* Brief internal teams clearly so execution is clean and consistent
* Support clients via Slack channels and community engagement where required
Performance tracking and optimisation
* Own growth KPIs and reporting dashboards
* Identify drop-off points across funnels and fix them
* Run weekly growth reviews and testing cycles
* Make decisions based on data, not opinion
What success looks like after 12 months
* Predictable, scalable inbound lead flow
* Higher sales conversion and shorter sales cycles
* Clear, documented workflows across marketing and sales
* Increased monthly recurring revenue and healthier margins
* Reduced reliance on founder-led sales and operations
What we are looking for
* Strong sales and marketing background with real exposure to lead generation and revenue growth
* Operational experience building or improving systems
* Regular experience conducting sales calls and managing client interactions from lead to close
* Ability to design workflows and automate processes
* Commercial mindset with high follow-through
* Advanced WordPress experience including development, customisation, and sales funnel implementation
* Australian work rights are required for this position due to the Gold Coast-based location requirements

Competitive salary plus performance-based incentives tied directly to agency growth.
