Obstetrics and Gynaecology – Staff Specialist
We are looking for a Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist to join the dynamic O & G team at Central Queensland's major hospital, providing expert clinical services and contributing to high standard care for patients.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide obstetric and gynaecological care to patients, including antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal services.
* Perform surgical and non‐surgical procedures such as Caesarean sections, vaginal deliveries, and gynaecological surgeries.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to manage complex maternal and fetal conditions.
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain clinical documentation.
* Engage with community outreach and health education activities.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG).
* Minimum of 2 years of post‐fellowship clinical experience in obstetrics and gynaecology.
* Strong clinical assessment, decision‐making, and patient communication skills.
* Commitment to providing culturally appropriate care and maintaining professional ethics.
