**Team Leader or Senior Speech Practitioner - Melbourne**

The ORS Speech Pathology team is expanding and we are seeking an experienced Team Leader or Senior Speech Practitioner to join the team in Melbourne. You will work across early intervention, school age, adolescent and adult services with clients who have various presentations, diagnoses and disability types.

You will provide clinical support to develop independence when working in a complex NDIS caseload. Your Regional Manager will support you in providing operational support to your team.


Key Responsibilities:

* Manage a small complex clinical caseload in the areas of communication and/or swallowing
* Provide assessments and interventions including communication assessments, swallowing and paediatric feeding (dysphagia) assessments, mealtime management plan development and reviews, augmentative and alternative communication assessments, and ongoing therapy
* Work across various environments including family homes, disability group homes, day programs, schools, preschools, community settings, telehealth and ORS offices

Requirements:

* Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology
* 3+ years experience as a Speech Pathologist
* Registered with SPA
* Prior experience working with NDIS participants in a clinical or community setting (preferred)
* A car and licence
* A National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or able to acquire one for client facing roles (or willingness to obtain one before commencement)
