We are currently looking for an experienced Materials Logistic Officer to work on an 8:6 roster in the Pilbara for our Tier 1 Mining Company.
** Please Note we DO NOT have any Entry / Trainee roles available.
This current position is open for Experienced Operators ONLY **
This role will involve:
Liaising with suppliers, transport companies and contractors to coordinate deliveries to site
Liaising and managing inter-site materials transfer fulfilling project requirements
Managing the materials lay down compound ensuring safe and effective operations
Receipt of materials ensuring accuracy of supply against orders
Stock and inventory management to meet project demands
Dealing with the day-to-day materials management and expediting materials for current & future project requirements
QA/QC of materials during receipt to ensure conformance and compliance to standards
Attend all pre-starts and achieve safety KPI
Management of stock returns process including all relevant documentation
Occasional project requirements to assist with escorting vehicles within the Autonomous Zones (AOZ)
Must have:
Computer Experience – Microsoft Word, Excel
White Card
Forklift Ticket
HC Driver's Licence
Experience in hitching/unhitching trailers from prime movers
Experience in operating extendible trailers over 19m long
Load restraint experience
**Please note this role will be split into 90% Operating & 10% Computer work**
If you are successful for this position you will need to provide a current national police clearance and pass a full medical.
Must have full rights to work in Australia.
