About The Role
We are seeking a hydrogeologist/groundwater specialist to join our team and provide technical input to a range of projects.
This role includes project management, technical work, and client interaction.
Key responsibilities:
* Conduct desktop hydrogeological studies and reporting
* Design groundwater investigations for hydrogeological conceptualisation
* Technical analysis and reporting of groundwater and surface water assessments
* Work with surface water and groundwater teams at Engeny
* Aquifer testing supervision, analysis, and groundwater modelling
* Data visualisation, statistical analysis, and basic GIS
* Field investigations and reporting
* Groundwater impact assessments for NSW and QLD projects
The successful candidate will participate in client management and business development, and play an active role in business groups through regular meetings, workshops, training, and business planning.
About You
You will need a tertiary degree in Environmental/Civil Engineering or Science (Geology/Environmental Science) and/or post-graduate studies in Hydrogeology.
Relevant project experience in hydrogeology is essential, including field groundwater studies.
You should have developed technical skills in data management, analysis, and visualisation, basic statistical analytical skills, report writing, project management, and junior engineer/scientist management.
Familiarity with groundwater modelling software (MODFLOW/Surfer/Seequent Leapfrog Works) is also required.
Excellent communication skills are necessary.
