About Us
Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) is an exceptional environment to advance your career while enhancing your skills and expertise. As a recognised leader in the healthcare industry, we deliver a comprehensive range of public health services across the Nepean, Blue Mountains, and Lithgow Regions.

Blue Mountains District ANZAC Memorial Hospital is an acute hospital that supports a population of approximately 80,000 and is the only ANZAC Memorial hospital remaining in NSW. Easily accessible to Sydney residents, our team of clinicians, allied health, and support staff works with the community on a shared goal to maintain the delivery of high-quality healthcare in the Blue Mountains region.

We are seeking an organised, compassionate and motivated Ward Clerk to join our Women and Children's team. This role is an essential part of ensuring the smooth operation of the ward and supporting high‐quality patient care. As the first point of contact for patients, families and visitors, you will create a welcoming and supportive environment while assisting clinical staff with administrative coordination. Your day will include booking of and checking in appointments for Outpatient Gynae, Obstetric, Ultrasound and Colposcopy clinics, maintaining accurate records, responding to enquiries, and providing efficient administrative support to the nursing and medical teams.

Success in this role requires exceptional communication skills, a calm and professional manner, strong attention to detail and the ability to work confidently in a busy and dynamic healthcare setting. You will thrive if you enjoy helping others, working collaboratively and being an important part of a team dedicated to delivering safe, compassionate and patient‐centred care.

If you are committed to making a positive difference and want to contribute to the care of women, children and their families, we would love to hear from you. Join us and help create a supportive environment where every patient experience matters.
