Cancer Council Tasmania is Tasmania's leading cancer charity working hard to reduce the incidence and impact of all cancers for all Tasmanians.
More than 11 Tasmanians a day are receiving a cancer diagnosis, and through our advocacy and research grants, our free transport to treatment and supportive care services to our cancer prevention education resources and programs – we are here for all Tasmanians.
We are looking for an Executive Officer (part-time 0.6 FTE) to provide high-level administrative and governance support to the CEO and the Board of Cancer Council Tasmania.
Ideally, we are looking for an administrative magician, a lover of process and a master of getting things done. Someone with the confidence to keep our fabulous CEO in order and help our wonderful volunteer Board navigate a busy schedule of tasks and commitments.
This role will suit someone who has experience in a similar role. Maybe you have provided executive support to a CEO, or undertaken high-level administrative duties in another not-for-profit, government department or small business.
The role will include standard secretariat and administrative duties, document management, policy review and governance support. You will have an opportunity to take charge of existing systems and process, which will make your heart sing because you will be a person with a love of getting things organised and knowing that everything is 'under control'.
You will enjoy being the 'right-hand-person' to a busy CEO and a key support to the Executive Management Team, with no two days being the same. If you enjoy being challenged and love a 'never a dull moment' working environment, then this is the role for you.
