The Opportunity: Do you want to work on some of Western Australia's most exciting projects with the state's leading planning consultancy? We are looking for an experienced Associate Director that can demonstrate an in-depth understanding of statutory and strategic urban planning and an ability to provide a range of services including advice relating to land use, development capability, due diligence assessments, masterplans, the approval process, and management. You will have the opportunity to drive the growth of Urbis as Western Australia's pre-eminent planning consultancy offer and lead some of the state's most exciting city and community shaping projects. This will include opportunities to work from our Dunsborough office on projects that are rapidly shaping the South-West of WA. The role is supported by highly experienced Directors and a market leading national Urban Planning team. Urbis provides an exciting multi-disciplinary environment to refine your skills and grow your career. You will: Provide an expert range of services including advice relating to land use, development capability, due diligence assessments, master plans, the approval process and management. Contribute to thought leadership locally and nationally and keep current on emerging trends in planning through professional development and industry engagement. Manage workflow and time to achieve revenue targets, through strong service delivery and project management. Support Directors to achieve 'whole-of-office' business plan outcomes, in conjunction with other Business Units. Lead and/or support strategic projects for tier 1 private and government clients, that will shape the future form and function of Western Australia. Proactively identifying opportunities to engage and work collaboratively with colleagues from other disciplines and Business Units across the broader firm on cross-disciplinary projects. About You: Tertiary qualifications in Town Planning or a related discipline 10+ years relevant experience, ideally with some consultancy experience Ability to manage and develop team members Be an active West Australian planning/property industry participant Project Management skills, with a track record of managing multiple projects and producing high-quality results.
