Job Description
As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play a vital role in making a real difference in people's lives by assisting clients to regain their independence and achieve their goals.
You will be responsible for undertaking assessments to develop effective rehabilitation plans, designing and implementing intervention programs to improve functional performance, independence, and work capacity, as well as identifying barriers and designing programs to support maximal work participation.
Additionally, you will empower clients to achieve wellness and recovery goals through understanding healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes, and liaise with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers, and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist is mandatory.
* The ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey is crucial.
* High-level customer service is essential, along with a commitment to providing flexible and inclusive services.
* Current or able Working with Children Check and Police Clearance is required.
