Objective
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Culinary Operations Manager to oversee the operational aspects of our kitchen. As an integral member of the culinary team, you will play a vital role in ensuring food safety and quality standards are met.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Manage and coordinate activities within assigned kitchen sections.
2. Maintain efficient workflow and seamless coordination with other kitchen areas.
3. Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene protocols.
4. Develop and implement menu concepts and new food ideas.
5. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, including apprentices and commis chefs.
6. Collaborate with senior culinary leaders to drive kitchen efficiency.
7. Monitor and control food waste, stock levels, and kitchen resources.
Requirements:
* Completed culinary training or apprenticeship.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
* Proven track record of excellence in food preparation and presentation.
* Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
* Passion for international cuisine and new food concepts.
* Experience in live cooking and customer interaction.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
