As we work to achieve outcomes that matter most for our members, the communities we serve and our dedicated team, we are pleased to share an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and strategic individual to join our team as Business Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Proactive management of a region of pharmacy stores
Total responsibility for delivery of the profit and loss budget for the region
Ensuring the retail offer is relevant to each store's local community
Achievement of member growth and retention targets
Ensuring we support the communities we serve through local sponsorship engagement
Monitoring competitor activity and market trends within the region
Ensuring we provide the highest standards of professional pharmacy services
Identifying new or improved business strategies, products and services
Providing impressive customer service, including monitoring and managing complaints, dispensary flow and waiting times
People management, including performance management, succession planning, WHS, leave and absenteeism
Championing change management and culture
Managing the budgeting process
Maintaining the highest levels of safety for teams, members and customers
Compliance to company policies and procedures
Ideal Candidate Profile
Strong commercial acumen with proven leadership in retail management
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Skilled problem solver with experience in change management
Demonstrated success in performance and people management
Committed to delivering outstanding customer service
Qualifications and Experience
Tertiary qualification preferred; qualified and experienced pharmacists are encouraged to apply
Senior retail management experience at a corporate level
Retail management experience – multi-site and state management experience
Experience working within community pharmacy is highly advantageous
