That includes courts, libraries, community centres, prisons, and migrant hubs — meeting people where they are, not just behind a desk.We've secured a new modern open office with cutting edge technologyThis is your chance to join a forward-thinking legal centre, backed by passionate leadership and a workplace culture that supports career sustainability, inclusion, and wellbeing.Learn more: OverviewWestern Sydney Community Legal Centre is looking for a full-time Senior Lawyer based in Parramatta, NSW.Reporting to the Team Leader, this role suits an experienced and independent legal practitioner with 5+ years' PAE, ready to work autonomously while contributing to mentoring and outreach efforts.What This Role Involves:Delivering legal services in civil, criminal, and/or family law (Local Court and duty list appearances)Taking the lead on employment law matters (strongly preferred, but not essential)Supervising and mentoring junior staff, PLTs, and law studentsParticipating in outreach programs across libraries, prisons, courts, and refugesBuilding referral pathways and engaging with community stakeholdersLeading or contributing to community legal education and systemic advocacySupporting innovation, continuous improvement, and a fast-moving legal environmentDoes This Sound Like YouThis is not a desk job, billing numerous hours.
