About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HR/Employee Relations professional to join our People Experience team as a Business Partner on a full-time basis to provide leave coverage until late January 2027.
In this key role reporting to the Service Manager People Experience, you will partner with leaders across an allocated portfolio, providing reliable and compliant strategic and operational HR advice, coaching and support to deliver contemporary, people-centred solutions which help shape a positive, high performing workplace culture.
About You
If you are passionate about partnering with leaders and supporting our people throughout the employee life cycle to deliver value for our community, we'd love to hear from you. Besides demonstrated experience, you'll need to have:
* Degree qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or a related field
* Working knowledge of Western Australian employment legislation and the application of Industrial Agreements
* Experience conducting workplace investigations and supporting leaders with performance management
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex matters clearly for leaders and employeesProven ability to coach, influence and build trusted relationships with leaders
* A positive and inquisitive customer-focused approach to service delivery
* The ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities and be comfortable with continuous improvement.
Salary and Benefits
Starting from Level 7 Step 1 ($111,670) of the City of Cockburn Industrial Agreement 2025, based on qualifications and experience.
