Job Description
We will deliver routine maintenance, planned maintenance, defect and hazard rectification and emergency response services to more than 8,500 lane kilometres of road in Victoria's Hume region, stretching from Mitchell Shire on the edge of metropolitan Melbourne to the north‐east corner of the State.
We have a position available for an experienced Supervisor to lead our Road Maintenance teams in Shepparton, VIC. This role will suit individuals who enjoy working outdoors, leading and supporting teams success, and; have a high regard for safety in the workplace.
What you'll bring
* Exposure leading/supervising maintenance crews, planning works and working with members of the public
* Drive accountability throughout the workforce
* Commitment to Quality outcomes with a focus on delivering in full and on time
* Possess strong skills in planning and scheduling, checking crew work and working with asset management systems.
* A successful track record of proactively building relationships with key clients and stakeholders
* Strong safety focus - actively participate in and support Downer Zero Harm initiatives and strategies
