Job Requirements
This role is responsible for overseeing project planning, scheduling, cost management, change control, and reporting to ensure timely delivery, within budget, and adherence to contractual obligations.
* Develop tailored project controls processes for engineering design projects.
* Provide strategic oversight and integration of project scheduling, cost control, and change management activities.
* Ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
* Lead collaboration and integration with contractors for deliverables, progress updates, and performance tracking.
The Project Controls Manager will lead and mentor a team ensuring high standards of performance. They will also support business development activities including bid preparation and cost estimation for new contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Cost Management: Oversee project budget baselines, cost forecasting, and variance analysis.
* Schedule Management: Develop and maintain integrated master schedules using Primavera (P6) or MS Project for design phases.
* Change Management: Oversee change management processes ensuring accurate documentation and handling of scope variations.
* Reporting & Governance: Ensure strict adherence to project controls reporting processes, templates, and governance protocols.
Applicants should have at least 10 years of experience in project controls specifically in engineering design environments. Expert-level knowledge of project scheduling, cost management, EVM, and contract management for engineering design projects is required.
