Position Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Level 2 Research Nurse to help support and grow a range of research project/s and clinical trials within the Renal Service. You will be working alongside a group of experienced Renal researchers from Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy and Allied Health who share knowledge and assist each other in their project recruitment and management. Working collaboratively with the broader Renal team, you will utilise existing research support structures within Alfred Health and engage with external partners such as the Alfred Research Alliance and Monash University. While primarily focused on clinical trials and research related to Renal, the research nurse will also work on other research projects under the direction of the principle investigator as part of the research nurse team and on other projects and initiatives under the direction of the Operations Manager Renal Services.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications Required
* Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA.
* Recent experience in Research/Clinical Trials Nursing
* Clinical experience in Renal Care preferred
* Ability to work collaboratively with other services and departments across the hospital and community
* Ability and willingness to develop others
* Commitment to quality and safety activities / research process and application to practice
