About Spare Parts Interpreter Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Parts Interpreter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, responding to sales inquiries, and ensuring timely and professional handling of all enquiries.
The key responsibilities include:
* Responding to sales inquiries from customers through various channels
* Assisting customers with their requirements and ensuring timely and professional handling of all enquiries
* Preparing quotes and other documentation for prompt and accurate delivery of parts
* Coordinating and administering dry hiring activities for ancillary equipment
* Liaising with the purchasing team to provide accurate information on spare parts pricing, availability, and supply for customer orders
* Ensuring timely communication of any alterations to confirmed delivery dates to customers
* Following up on quotations with customers to promote sales and record responses of special interest
The ideal candidate will possess:
* 1-2 years of previous experience in a parts interpreter role
* Customer-focused approach with a commitment to providing exceptional customer satisfaction
* Strong administration and computing skills with a high attention to detail and data accuracy and integrity
* Excellent sales skills with proven results in achieving targets
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Initiative and ability to collaborate effectively as a team member
* Problem-solving and decision-making skills essential
* Exposure to managing hire equipment would be advantageous but not essential
