Your Role
As the National Transport Manager at Skyfusion, you will be the leading authority for Road Logistics, including Pricing and Implementation, within Australia. Your role will involve creating and implementing a national business development plan aligned with Skyfusion's global and regional Road strategies. You will be responsible for ensuring that our operations are of the highest quality and profitability, as well as for recruiting, managing, and motivating our team of Road Logistics specialists. Your duties will be carried out in accordance with Australian Transport Rules and regulations in close collaboration with our subcontractors and customer's transport requirements.
Your Responsibilities
1. Strategic Development: Determine and implement the national business strategy in alignment with global objectives.
2. Business Acquisition: Drive the acquisition of new business, support account management, and expand existing client relationships.
3. Business Development Process: Lead the business development process, including sales, tender analysis, solution design, costing, pricing, and service offerings.
4. Localization: Evaluate opportunities to adapt global Road Logistics products and equipment to meet local market expectations while ensuring international compatibility.
5. Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities, including acquisition targets, new services, and partnerships.
6. Customer Relations: Maintain strong personal relationships with key customers, seek out new major accounts, and oversee Field Sales activities.
7. Carrier Relationships: Establish and maintain strong carrier relationships to ensure optimal financial results.
8. Operational Efficiency: Ensure efficient and effective Road Logistics operations, including Pricing and Implementation, and continuously optimize them in line with regional and global guidelines.
9. Representation: Represent Skyfusion at public events, external and internal conferences, and be a key player in the company's strategic direction.
Your Skills and Experience
10. 3+ years of experience in Road Logistics and management.
11. Wind Transport experience highly valued
12. Experience on Road Logistics solution design, pricing and implementation.
13. Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in driving Road Logistics initiatives and team management.
14. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
15. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
16. Commercially minded with a customer-oriented approach.
17. Extensive knowledge of financial and international Road Logistics markets.
18. Proficiency in spoken and written English.
