Job Title: Payroll Specialist

Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-driven Payroll Specialist who loves accuracy and compliance. You will play a key role in ensuring our team is paid correctly and on time using Pronto to manage the process end-to-end. This hands-on role works closely with People & Culture and Finance teams. The position is 5 days per week (hybrid available) with shorter hours, giving flexibility for life-balance.

Key Responsibilities:
* Processing end-to-end payroll for ~170 employees on a fortnightly basis (salary + blue-collar)
* Entering new hires, changes and terminations into the payroll system
* Calculating and applying leave entitlements, overtime and allowances
* Ensuring accurate payment of superannuation, PAYG tax and deductions
* Implementing system enhancements and automations as required
* Interpreting Modern Awards and ensuring compliance with the Fair Work Act and NES
* Managing finance-related payroll tasks and the payroll inbox
* Preparing and lodging STP reports to the ATO
* Assisting with year-end processes, including PAYG summaries and reconciliations
* Supporting audits and providing required documentation

Requirements:
* A Certificate or Diploma in Payroll, Accounting, Finance or related field (desirable)
* 3+ years of payroll experience in a similar role
